ViaTrack Selected as 5010 Beta Site

The Department of Health and Human Services has established a federal mandate for implementation of 5010 standards by January 1, 2012. The adoption of these standards applies to the transaction sets of claims, claims status, electronic remittance and patient eligibility. As an important partner in 5010 implementation, ViaTrack Systems has been selected by BCBS of Western New York, BCBS New York North East, and HealthNow New York to act as a 5010 Beta Center.

A nationally recognized leader in the development, management and operation of outpatient surgery centers. Amsurg partners with over 1,200 physicians and more than 200 outpatient surgery centers across the country and strives to provide high quality, low cost surgical services with superior patient satisfaction. ViaTrack currently provides full clearinghouse services to over 50 Amsurg centers. ViaTrack will provide full claim services to these centers starting first quarter 2011.

ViaTrack has been chosen to provide electronic claim and electronic remittance services to Cross Timbers Health Clinics. Located in Texas, Cross Timbers has been providing services to the communities of Eastland, Comanche and Erath counties since 1967. All three counties are listed as medically under-served areas. Cross Timbers offers WIC services, in-house pharmacy, laboratory and radiology, social services, family planning, HIV counseling and testing, health education, nutrition counseling, mental health counseling, and transportation assistance.

Voting Begins to Help Choose a Charity

Last year in lieu of mailing holiday cards we emailed our wishes and made a donation in the name of Friends and Clients of ViaTrack Systems to the Salvation Army. This year our friends and clients are choosing the charity from a list compiled from our staff favorites. In the lead is the American Cancer Society, second is Purple Heart Homes, a close third is Special Olympics with the American Heart Association and United Way trailing behind. Voting closes on December 8th.
NextGen's UGM - A Great Success

Thanks to everyone who visited the ViaTrack exhibit at this year's UGM. The show was a huge success, with the highest attendance rate yet - over 3500 attendees. While manning the exhibit, Richard Baker and Vanessa DiMantova enjoyed the opportunity to preview ViaTrack's new system and to announce that ViaTrack will be working with dental claims starting first quarter 2011. Looking forward UGM 2011 in Las Vegas.
