The BackgroundBlackstone Valley Community Health Care, Inc. is a federally qualified, JCAHO-accredited health center. It provides a full range of services in pediatrics, internal medicine, family medicine, midwifery and OB/GYN, as well as dental and behavioral health services. The center’s goal is to provide the highest quality, lowest cost health care possible to the patients in its community. Blackstone is frequently required to bill Medicare and Medicaid transactions differently because of government funding for the uninsured and/or under-insured. Prior to ViaTrack, Blackstone’s tedious processing system required printing every claim and saving to floppy discs without clearinghouse support.
